1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Fitness & Macro Tracker mobile application published by GNETOPS LLC (the “App”). It explains what information the App handles, how that information is used, where it is stored, and the controls available to you.
This policy does not apply to other GNETOPS services or websites, or to the independent practices of Apple, Google, or your device manufacturer.
2. Data handled by the App
The App processes information that you choose to enter or enable so its workout, nutrition, and progress features can work:
- Workout information: workout plans, exercises, sets, repetitions, weight, duration, distance, effort ratings, session dates and times, and notes.
- Nutrition information: food and meal names, macronutrients, nutrition targets, meal preferences, and water tracking.
- Check-in information: optional body weight, sleep quality, mood, energy, dates, and notes.
- Progress photos: photos you choose to take or select for progress tracking, along with the date and any note you add.
- App settings: units, appearance, reminders, workout timing, program dates, and similar on-device preferences.
- Optional health information: daily step totals read from Apple Health or Health Connect, and completed workout sessions written to the platform health store when workout sync is enabled.
The App does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or precise location.
3. How the App uses data
The App uses this information only to provide features on your device, including displaying workouts, calculating nutrition targets, logging meals and exercise, showing trends and streaks, comparing progress photos, displaying daily steps, and optionally saving completed workouts to your platform health store.
The mobile App does not use your workout, nutrition, photo, or health information for advertising, profiling, or automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Where data is stored
Workout logs, food logs, check-ins, and related records are stored in the App's local database. Preferences are stored in local app storage. Progress photos are copied into the App's private local files.
GNETOPS does not operate a cloud account or backend that receives this App data. Depending on your device and operating-system settings, local App data may be included in a device or cloud backup managed by Apple or Google. GNETOPS does not operate or access those backups.
5. Apple Health and Health Connect
If you enable a health integration, the App may:
- Read your daily step total so it can display step progress in the App.
- Write a completed workout's start time, end time, and activity type to Apple Health or Health Connect when workout sync is enabled.
Health access is optional. The App requests platform permission before access and uses health information only for the fitness features you enable. Health information is not sold, used for advertising, or sent to GNETOPS servers.
You can review or revoke access at any time in Apple Health, Android Health Connect, or your device's privacy settings. Revoking access stops future access but does not automatically delete workouts previously written to your platform health store.
6. Camera and progress photos
You can optionally use the camera or photo library to add progress photos. After you choose a photo, the App stores its own copy in private local app storage for viewing and comparison.
Deleting a progress photo inside the App removes the App's stored copy and its local database record. If you selected an existing photo from your library, the original library photo is not deleted.
7. Device permissions
| Permission | Purpose | Required? |
|---|---|---|
| Camera | Take a progress photo. | No |
| Photo library / images | Select an existing progress photo. | No |
| Steps / activity recognition | Display today's step total. | No |
| Health workout access | Save completed workout sessions to the platform health store. | No |
You can deny or revoke an optional permission. The related feature may become unavailable, but the rest of the App will continue to work.
9. Retention and deletion
Local records remain on your device until you delete them through available App controls or remove the App. Uninstalling the App removes its active local storage, subject to any operating-system backup that you control through your Apple or Google account.
Deleting the App does not automatically delete a workout previously written to Apple Health or Health Connect. You can manage those records in the applicable health service. Because GNETOPS does not receive your App data, there is no GNETOPS account or server-side profile to delete.
10. Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. GNETOPS does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App. If you believe a child has provided information to GNETOPS outside the App, contact us using the details below.
11. Security
The App relies on the security protections provided by iOS or Android for its private local storage and permission controls. You should protect your device with a passcode, biometric lock, and current operating-system updates. No storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the App's features or data practices change. The revised policy will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. Material changes will also be reflected in the App or its store listing when required.
